In
the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park, amidst
the wildlife is a traditional safari camp gathered
round an acacia tree-shaded Bedouin tents line the
banks of the
Zambezi with spectacular views of the river filled
with pools hippos and elephants grazing on the
banks. Each tent is individually designed, with
carved wooden tables and woven chairs perfectly
complement the four-poster beds and canvas walls.
Each tent is set on teak platforms with a private
deck overlooking the river. En-suite area is
spacious with both indoor and outdoor shower with
bath tub and double basins.
A
plunge pool offers a beautiful view of the river
too.
The dinning area shaded under the trees and on teak
platforms provide both spectacular view of the river
and the evening candle dinner under the stars along
with the rippling sound of the river is an
unforgettable experience in the African bush.
Activities in this area are exciting. Seeing game
from the water is most interesting as elephants can
be seen crossing the river, schools of hippos, and
waterbuck too.
Walking in the bush in the Lower Zambezi is also
rewarding. Game drives are spectacular too. Lions do
visit the camp from time to time and leopards have
also been sighted in the park. The area around this
camp is home to tiger fish, so fishing is great fun
for both expert anglers and for those who go fishing
only once in a lifetime, this is the place to do it.

This tree camp is the epitome of bush chic, set in a
stunning location along the Zambezi river at the
heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park. The
pristine location and the camp offer all the game
and all the luxury. The camp sleeps only 16 guests,
and offers a true bush experience with lavish
attention to detail, The central dining and bar area
is fronted by an enormous teak deck overlooking the
Zambezi River. The large swimming pool is
idyllically situated under the shading Mahogany
trees.
The luxurious white Bedouin style tents, are
generously spaced along the river banks allowing the
elephants to amble in between. The four poster bed,
contrasts with pure white fabrics with teak
furniture and flowing mosquito nets provides
luxury. The tents are cool, private sanctuaries to
return to for an afternoon siesta good nights rest.
Each tent has it’s own private butler.
